Book Review: Adventures of Sadie and the Mysterious White Fox

A moving memory of a beloved fur-baby

The Adventures of Sadie and The Mysterious White Fox
by Jeffrey Frye (Author), Stephen Miller (Author)

I love the idea behind this children’s book. It is beautifully designed and the print quality is the highest possible you will see in any bookstore. The illustrations really stand out in this 7×10 inch full-color book. Not only does it tell the story of Sadie, her friends and the pursuit of the mysterious fox–it also has simple rhymes that the characters use to express themselves.

This is a book that definitely will grab a kid’s attention and its short enough at 30 pages to be read cover to cover — encouraging children to read and draw and also introduce them to pets or animals in their surrounding environment.

The book also memorializes a beloved pet whose photo appears on the last page. If all these weren’t enough for a kid to hold on to it, the book also has spaces built-in to draw or sketch your own favorite animals, birds, et al.

Have fun, its early Christmas time with an adventure with Sadie and friends.

Not only is it one of the most loving and lovely stories, the rest is clever and delightful for the adults and sure to be a lifetime treasure.
